It's over 90 degrees Fahrenheit here
And the level of moist is very high
I puff and puff but am still wet
A few more days and I'll surely die

No fun at all this heat in my land
Well, some people might disagree with me
Feels like I'm in constant need of a shower
And outside is not a nice place to be

But I won't even complain a single time
Will not seek shadow as it comes to that
I would endure my sweating and puffing
If only....., if only it would melt my fat

Like scattered leaves...my words will flow

Even I might come to like the dreaded heat and humidity if it melted my fat cells away. LOL This is cute. I love your sense of humor.

I know what you mean about the heat and humidity.
We have had it here in Canada as well.
I saw where Europe is having a hotter than normal summer.

so when it comes to fat
I confess, I haven't any~

With temperatures soaring
on a daily basis so high
I huff and I puff
as I wipe the sweat from my eye~

But give me the temperatures rising
no snow on the ground for this lassie
I can always find a way to cool down
before I get too sassy~

Nekkid in the water
is the ONLY way, and so
Come on back to Florida
I know just where we can go~

Back to the town of Sanford
to the motel where we first met
Ah, the breeze off the water
of Lake Monroe comforts me yet~

And don't forget to remember
the chap with whom we shared a hug
for assisting us with your baggage
he was as cute as a bug in rug~

ROFL Yeah if only uh? For now I'd settle for rain, hail, snow, storm... whatever! Anything but more sunshine! A fun read Titia. I needed that.

Thanks all, it's still hot here, over 91 in my bedroom and no airco of course, just blowing fans.
I'm off to the North tomorrow. Inspection time has begun. They say it's going to rain...WELL, I DON'T CARE...let it pour down please.
