When the moon is all aglow
I begin dreaming of things
from long ago
as the memories of the past
begin to unfold.

Sweet, low I hear the breeze of
the ocean  singing its melodies of
yesterdays memories as though
calling me back to days of my
youth a place I loved.

A place called home.

Until he extends the circle of his compassion to all living things,
man will not himself find peace."

Nobel Peace Prize Wi

Dear poet...

this gave me reason to give
myself a long ago smile...

yes...

there is a place we can
go home to...

even if we were once told,
we cannot.

Thank you, and thanking the poet
who brought this treasure back
to the top.

Thank-you Karilea for the sweet comment.
I do go back once in awhile to my childhood home as my brother still lives there.
