Three-Hundred-Sixty-Degrees

Taking time to linger
Preview, to view, to shutter snap
Panoramic considerations and compassionate stare
Just how much I really care is clear

Dew impairs the heats renew
Cooling emotional seas, let calm
The might by which I stand beside you passions on
Building a three dimensional boat

Mountains moved as I came farther
Diminished in the colors of Quaking Aspen
Autumn drenched the highlights of my eyes
Causing me to pause where I feel most at home

And still, the night is not blackness
July finds myriad color scheme through wax
Moving longer stretching molecules of somber facts
But joy smoothed edges sound

Taking turns, I spin around
Watching you grow and change in the distance
Sun soaked, moonlit and parched I reach
Bursting with desire, spoken fire, love’s beseech

Summer simmers a horizon made for us
Carried hand by heart, within a lifelong trust
Moved I am, looking in your eyes, the way you see
What a view, the river of your dreams imparts to me

Beautifully said.

Beautiful, for sure!

I especially like these lines.  I could
have highlighted the entire poem...but,
that would be selfish of me,  taking the
whole dang thing off of the page and keeping
it locked away...

Well done Kiddo, very well done!
