keep those pictures on the shelf and keep your prayers to yourself we live like this for laughs, and for the fun and not for god, not for anyone. we are our favorite son our ego weighs a metric ton we carry a tommy gun we are no mother's son and at times in the long run we stop to see the midnight sun just to poke fun no one is ever outdone not until you get a machine gun or go on a bank run because we all want to hit that home run hey, chicks dig the long ball. god forbid it'd ever be us, above all its me, above all. and then we hit the wall and we crawled through the dance hall for help we called but all in all we never were above this cannon ball and all they did was a give a curtain call number one and then we were outrun and in the year two thousand twenty one; north korea won somehow, i believe; secretively we're all the same and we have no name we will not change. this is the usa. we're the lovers with secrets. and we'll burn in our shame. written with excerpts from “Revolution on Canvas” |

"somehow, i believe; secretively we're all the same" I grew up amidst graffiti and understand this in my own way; we are the same, but interpret the words and the signs differently. But we are all human. |
