Mother Nature's sense of humor a kind of poetic justice? for where there once was a rich man's lake the mud now swallows a stuccoed luxury and the gated community members are crying foul play but it's just Mother's way to say I rule, you drool and as the buzzards circle overhead to feast on the mud flapping dying fish, you've gotta laugh at how sinkholes sabatoge the best laid plans of mice and men, and now Scott's Lake or the mudflats that remain shall perhaps belong to the public again. *sinkholes underneath Scotts Lake FL, drained it like a bathtub, leaving million dollar homes in a gated community with boat docks high and dry.... Mother Nature's version of poetic justice? to read about this http://www.bradenton.com/mld/bradenton/news/local/14896201.htm |
