Your Own Woman You are not woven from the past Or loved from the present sins of others; Instead you live from your own pains, Caring not for the excuses of my failed ex-lovers… But you have faith in the resilience of the heart And your kisses have temporarily induced me to forget Of past heartbreaks and unhappiness proclaimed, To realize a truth so clear and cool as ice, That it warms my thawing trust, To view within my teary love, A sight so rare, it sets a mood to the crying sun… Marcel |

You have written spectacular verse; again and again. I so enjoy the workings of your mind and spirit. The heart in this one... What a wonderful wilderness to explore! Such sweetness is to be savored. TD |
