in the eyes behind your eyes you see that if you just peel back all our surface layers underneath we are all pink glowing vibrant newborns rooting for breasts craving our mothers craving her warmth in the ears behind your ears you hear that below all of our distractionary babble we are all softly crying lost blind babies using the only voice we know weeping for shelter weeping for home in the tongue beneath your tongue you taste that behind our sour bitter sweet pungent auras our skin tastes of autumn leaves and salty seas floating creatures pushed by the tide pulled by the moon from where we burst forth screaming until the day we die we are all mere humans kissed by God one glorious day then sent on our way to see how long it takes for us to make our way back home "You can do no great things, just small things with great Love."~Mother Theresa |

An interesting poem - nice development towards the good-bye kiss from god. Of course god comes off as a cruel tease, but if there is a god, that may be the case. Good writing. PLEASE VISIT MY REGULARLY UPDATED WEB SITE http://www.anthonyarmstrong.zoomshare.com |

A magnificently perspicacious view, superbly put! And how I agree with what you said! The third stanza has me reeling. I don't agree with shirtless about how you depicted God. I think you suggested that He presents us with a fair challenge. I am soooooo pleased I have found your work. I am enjoying it immensely. - Owl |
