Good Morning Glorious

I am glitter, bowed and finding
sweet thinking July,
where morning dark is discovery.

It was four a minute ago
and now it’s five,
a dream must have happened,
for hours are not lost
but they can pulse like
tide and jelly fish.

Words are perfume
I’m wearing them now,
a pillow lays with me
and delicious dawn.

Today is forever
and the weeping is gone,
though fire burns all around
still the birds
unbridled    sing.

I hope it is, by golly! It's good to see your smile, flower girl....and to see joy in your poetry.

What a beautiful July morning
wake up sensation...
covered in perfume of words...

You DID have a good one
waiting to be dreamed!

Super, Sis!

Ah, what a beautiful way to start my day!
"Today is forever"...
Wonderful thought.

But into my heart..
It was not my lips you kissed
But my soul.

What a thing to wake up to. Thank-you, Martie. Like the new pic, too. It's more you, and that's a very good thing.

A poem's just a poet in a word.

I sure hope those fires get put out by the softness of this spray of words.

Oh, I love this!  It is bursting with happiness and Martie-beautiful and dawn is one of my favourite times - that soft bird-song time before dawn too!  And I soooooooo love:

"and the weeping is gone" for the poetry, but very especially for the content.

It is evening now, but I think I am going to read this first thing tomorrow morning, to enjoy waking up even more than usual.  Thank you for the pleasure of reading you, Martie.

Nice demonstration of the passing of moments in time. Enjoyed.

You are a gift and you have a gift.  You are a beautiful writer --- and, I think a beautiful person.

I also loved

Words are perfume
I’m wearing them now,
a pillow lays with me
and delicious dawn.

Thank you for sharing what you wear so beautifully.
