. It came back, Summer! Walking in my blue denim jeans and bare feet with freshly painted candy apple red toenails I giggle.. I feel free I am me. Flashbacks: November winds December cold snaps January snowfalls The noise of cars pollutes this moment of peace rapture Seizing the moment my mind drinks in the flower garden neatly kept in front of my house on the corner.. I fight to block out the unnatural. I shut my eyes and for a split second only I exist I'm walking in my blue denim jeans and bare feet with freshly painted candy apple red toenails I giggle aloud I am free.. I am me And, it is finally SUMMER! . |

Yes, summer you have dreamed of it I dread these days of light and heat where the blast furnance days greet and I drip sweat; but I don't forget those crisp days of winter when the artic cold I enter wrapped in layers of black leather. I over years did learn the year will turn and what season we each yearn will come then be done. Enjoy your season Gloom |
