My thoughts bestowed the memories, Like thee bestowed the kiss- yet we were like the moon upon the sea thy shadow floated, thou dost guild across- my frozen soul which longed to be skated upon Watch for the fisherman’s hole which scars- a enchanted journey toward the heart boundless, I shall sense thine cold footsteps. ‘Dost thou not awaken to that of a smile, Filled with troublesome visions of that dream- thro’ the beauty of the place remained when wilt thou believe the whispers of death, Cometh hail stone knocking hard against the skin- to numb the place from which I do weep ’seven of the rose petals sweet with loving care- has wilted from their guarding stand the soil loose to bare the graves of those that fell. And still a whisper from the back of my mind dost cometh, ’A man exists for a generation at the least- but his name lasts to the edge of time sat amongst the crows pitying those that never were, ’When wilt thou return to that place- when wilt thou give our seed away o’er my breaths have I found the peaceful end- round the old oak tree we used to sit upon as children now with mournful thoughts we must unlace ourselves. ‘O’er and o’er lulled by thy whispering touches, To sleep, as if our bed were none but singles- thou hath not laid with me since whom knows ‘thro’ I will pursue that which we hath lost in time, ’Never, thought the storm had struck but once- tears fall and I feel loss like the tree mourn it’s leaves I will learn to grow again o’er the sins- and root the infernal world for the lesson of knowledge I forgive thee, thou wants me to say it in her manner- please forgive me, hath I to be shame’d and take this blame annihilate this one way system and let us both be of wrong. The sun arises in the West shall we take a walk? Cloth’d in the robes of childhood memories let us walk- swords and daggers leave them at the door take only what we need, that would be ourselves my love, ’Does spring hides it happiness by not showing its changing’s- where buds do burst full of life into the world and nod toward the strangers in the kindest manner- even ‘thro’ I shall pluck it away to a new home where thou art always watering the old past dead, Must be the connection thee had towards them- and I’ve read the poetry in the book you kept close to heart and there I found the rose I gave thee years and years ago- upon that first smile in the oak tree thou pressed it between the pages to keep it youthful and now we shall return and take our place with those rose petals. ’Break this chain around us made of only our hatred, Now below the tree we cuddle arms in arms- to old to climb it anymore, to old to see that place we first kissed under the stars and thee kept it safe, That feel of love which bonded us hath come back- like an old friend we know it well and give it our affection but old ages come and like I promised we shall go together- now closed eyes I feel myself becoming weaker underneath that old oak tree where we became like those old rose petals. This was so well done, reminding me of innocence and love, a love that understands, and sees a light amidst all that is dark, evil and wrong... Amazingly written...and very much enjoyed. |
