I don’t know who he was not by name anyway but I knew him I knew his long legs weary blue eyes and the way his jeans fit his cowboy butt just right he offered me his hand I put my beer on the table stood laid my head on his chest and let my feet do the two step by memory while my mind dreamed the future in the span of one dance I fell in love married laughed with fought with and divorced that man and when he walked away the only thing I missed was his cowboy butt |

A blue-jeaned cowboy butt is, indeed, a sight to behold! Your story would make a great country song! EA |

A blue-jeaned cowboy butt is glorious AE, but the heartache that goes with it... stinks. You know? Thank you for your reply. |

Yes, Dear Lady, I do know ~ and you are absolutely right. The heartache that can come with it "stinks". Here's to happier trails! EA |

Superbly written, brave, slightly cynical but very sad that it is about your pain. I loved the way I wasn't sure (until your reply) through which end of the telescope, we readers were looking. - Owl |

Yes, you do indeed create a life story in one moment but, I guess, at the end of the day that's what life amounts to - just one moment in time. Great write! There must be a reason for heartache - wish I knew what it was. |

Cute poem, but let me tell you this, I got a "hard rock" butt that works just as well. "If this grand panaorama before me is what you call God... then God is not dead." |

Some guys are like that....and I don't even get to miss that much of 'em! Nicely done, this poem...I like the pacing and the honesty of the imagery you use. ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |

Well... it's almost rodeo time here, so I'll be seeing lots of those fine views... and treasuring in my heart the knowing that the finest view isn't out seeking a viewing. *G* |

Thank you troubador! Got you Stranger. Loved your comment. Now that you mention it there's a lot of different butts to consider. So many butts... so little time. |

"Oooooooohhhh... you got a pair of jeans too JCP?" For sure, I have quite a few pairs. However, if you really want to know, go to www.myspace.com/mmb1 disclaimer: if you are easily offended by revealing pictures, then don't go there. Good luck in your writing. I am not easily offended by revealing pictures but I didn't see one pair of jeans. However, I must say you definitely have a cowboy butt. |

"I am not easily offended by revealing pictures but I didn't see one pair of jeans. However, I must say you definitely have a cowboy butt." ~ Well, maybe I'll have to put a pic with jeans up there just for you then ~ Reread your poem, thumbs up! "If this grand panaorama before me is what you call God... then God is not dead." |

WoW! Reminds me of the southern stranger who waited minutes to open a door for me once. No dancing. Just a mutual ambiance... I think the only words were Thank you and My pleasure. I felt like I knew him thoroughly, but that was impossible. Love the poem, Lady! |
