Water’s Deep The tepid streams of Water’s Deep, Filled the mindless with a poet’s dreams. And the ripples That caused the world to pulse Were found guilty Of aggravated assault. A jury of poets Shouting “Plagiarism”. Rewrote the constitution Into stanzas that rhymed. While the mindless (the judge), Repudiated any affiliation With Water’s Deep. And ordered a mistrial Because the defense pleaded insanity. Ripples sentenced one to five lockup. High security. Dead after a month If that… Case reopened in July. New evidence presented. Stone found guilty For framing (causing) the ripples. Momma says, "Life... is like a box full of chocolates, you never know when you're gonna get one with a nut in it". |
