Giving up not usually what I do but the bills have piled up like the bible preaching about responsibility what does that matter, if you live only half as long? everyday stale bread sits in my kitchen as I wonder what groceries to buy he used to tell me “No hands on the walls, no crumbs on the table” ‘cause that is what’s really important; but I kind of like the way each crumbs sits patiently waiting for the conversation to get interesting. Making room for company the couch rests lethargically no one could tell it to move. I thought about going you know to that place I can’t pronounce yet money laughed at me today asking if I could be any funnier but you see I never thought that I had to do it you know live hard cause they really never tell you the important things “keep things clean” what about real life? |

I like the way you open up in your poems, especially this one. Enjoyed, and I can relate to this. I too didn't know it could happen to me. - Owl |

This is a fine piece. I love the way it express what you feel...think. It gives the reader a glimpse into your heart. Bravo! Very well done...and keep up the fine work. This is an excellent poem. |
