Impressions Last Eternally

My heart has been used
Users feasting upon mine
But I never held a grudge
I find that a waste of time

Some had fun pretending
Vowing their love was true
Their dishonesty I erased
I am forgiving of those too

Still having a giving heart
Many users come and go
Yet I hold no resentment
My love continues to flow

Hope I left my heartprints
So that each day you see
Look into your own heart
Impressions last eternally

Hope I left my heartprints
So that each day you see
Look into your own heart
Impressions last eternally

your heart is less scared then mine,
I can forgive, but cannot forget...lest it happen again, I won't allow it....
