Pretending To Watch The Super Bowl Every year, one game two teams, I never know which. I even enjoy it sometimes; no, enjoy it all the time: the pretending, I mean. [This message has been edited by Ratleader (02-06-2006 12:27 PM).] |

Now this is the definition of that humor and sad face mask. Enjoyed the communication between your mind, heart, and your reality. Good one. JL |

Oh but this year I was watching every play. My Seattle Seahawks were playing and I relly thought in the first quarter they were going to take them. Joyce |

it's just another discount shopping day to me...even though it was a PA team... football is one sport I don't enjoy watching |

I have never been a fan of the game, though I used to have a certain guy interest..... I lost touch with it completely while my sons were growing up, each of them 'way too big, and I wanted to keep them away from the sport. I've never known a man who played football, who didn't have old injuries to deal with at thirty, that shouldn't have bothered him until he was twice that age -- just didn't want my sons afflicted. The last football team I actually cared about in a Superbowl, was quarterbacked by a guy named Len Dawson....If you're a fan, that'll tell ya how long a haitus it's been for me! Good game though, and I did enjoy this one! ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |

I enjoyed seeing Len yesterday... even though I have to admit my enjoyment was tinged with a bit of regret at seeing all those young turks no longer young... 'cept maybe in heart. *S* But... back to the poem. *S* You write of one moment... but it's applicable to so many aspects of life... something you do so deftly it looks easy... when it's not. *S* So much said in so few words... and reading just doesn't teach me the how of it! LOL Excellent write, my friend. |
