Your ebony, i'm ivory

there's no point in hiding me

from your heart

inside of me

you think it's dark

but the pride in me

is torn apart

and the Tide in me

will never start

washing my clothes again

until you become one of my best friends

for life

I've noticed you've got 9 posts and 8 of them are poems you've posted i couldn't seem to find the last one i was just wondering since your new here haven't you read anyone elses poetry or even replied to anyone's just seems wrong to post your own work wanting replies without replying to others
