Cease the Flowing of Time |

Oh walking down the street, Scuffling your feet, Dreading what is to come, Feeling, dare I say it, quite dumb. We slow our pace, To try to stop the race, Extend the dreaded moment next in line, But we cannot cease the flowing of time. We struggle we fight, With every ounce of our might, We long to prolong, The moment we feel is so wrong. Hahahaha is what time is saying, It is mocking us, but only in playing, We try with force and plea, Oh but we cannot stop the flowing of time, teehee. No matter what we do or say, Time ends up getting its way, But one thing we do not realize but somehow know, Is if patients rules, time moves slow. The quicker we ascend, Towards our sure and destined end, The faster time wins its game, Because it catches up with us all, the same. |
