TRYST December 1998 GLANCE It was a momentary pact of who knows what for who knows how long but so exhilarating and bewitching that a new path was born. CONVERSATION The leaf swayed in the wind and the light danced on it and flew to another in celebration of Life. MOMENT The pan flute set free celestial trills and held the last note forever and the world stopped turning to listen to the attainment of Perfection. AFTERMATH It was a moonstruck silence which held all things on tiptoe at the edge of Time. - Owl |

Glance-Conversation-Moment-Aftermath The linking parts of a Tryst, for sure.. The poetry inbetween the stanzas makes clear what happened....I especially liked the end stanza...kind of a blur, leaving the reader to guess what happened after the "silence" An enjoyable read, I am enjoying your range.... _____ ___ice ><> |

Thank you so very much, ice, and thank you particularly for noticing that I have a range. The amazing thing is what happened after the silence - absolutely nothing! I hope that didn't spoil the poem for you. I can remember the disappointment for me, in spite of the years that have passed. Anyway, at leasat I got a suite of poems out of it! - Owl |
