Shepherd's Watch

Upon the mountains
High above the hills
At a place called the Shepherd's Watch
Lived a man

Alone and isolated
Just as he wanted
for
Long ago he had decided to leave the ordinary world
A world filled with hate
Long ago he decided to go to place of peace and tranquillity

Found it he had at the place know only to few
A place that had long ago been given the name of Shepherd's Watch
High up in the mountains it lay
a place where no evil could penetrate
a place where darkness never fell
for
When the sun set, the moon replaced her
a place that rays of light never abandoned

There he waited and watched the rest of the world
He waited for teh day when peace would return to the world of man
A day he could return from
the Shepherd's Watch

to gather a poet like Balladeer...
one must be very, very good....

because while he will read
free verse, we know he is prone
to rhyme....

so do consider yourself smiled upon....

by one who does,
and one who should [do more]
