He casts a broad shadow, Mighty shoulders and arms, Confidence and power, He’ll protect against all harms; He is master of his own destiny She is what ever he wishes her to be, He breaks the pathway through She follows what ever he’ll do. Her burden is light All she is, Body and spirit his, They are each others warmth at night, But at day Keep away Behind and never to the right, Shield side Behind to hide In the shadow of the fight. A warrior’s woman stands without fear, Although danger and death are often near, Blood of enemies often splatter clothes, But where ever he travels there she goes He is a wandering hero for good Taking up the battles where others should, He’s not just an ordinary warrior But a paladin in shining armor, Far too often traveling penniless Yet always fighting all evil fearless. She is only a warrior’s woman And he is much yet he is still a man She walks to the left and a step behind The bravest true man she could ever find. Gloom |

And he is much yet he is still a man She walks to the left and a step behind The bravest true man she could ever find. This made me think of many things... including the saying "got your back"... Shield side is also heart side... and without love what is life? *S* As I said... you made me think... and I definitely enjoyed. *S* |
