The ballroom at the Midvale nursing home was full that night. Two hundred eager resident were waiting with delight To see Toerag the Hypnotist put on his famous show. They sat there, waiting patiently, as lights were turned down low. Then there he was - our Toerag - bowing to their wild applause. He wore a suit so green that it could break at least ten laws. His hands a bit unsteady from the scotch he drank last night But, even in this drunken state, the man was quite a sight. He stood there, smiling, then said "Friends, we're gonna have a ball. Instead of choosing one or two, I'll hypnotize you all!" He had a gold watch on a chain that started moving slow, Back and forth the gold watch went, swaying to and fro. Four hundred eyes were mesmerized while staring at the watch But Toerag's hand was not too steady, mainly from the scotch. The watch fell to the floor and broke! "Crap!!!" ole Toerag swore. It took the night crew several hours to clean the ballroom floor! |

Balladeer~ Of course you have me laughing ... but I can't wait to see just how that sweet HipTOEnist ... gets his poetic revenge ... somehow~ *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*The sound of a kiss is not as strong as that of a cannon, but it's echo endures much longer*~ Email - [email protected] |
