Time Through the dead of the night, till the sun rose once more The archipelago that was Greece, was in war People died, cities were burned, and many cities withdrawn No matter, time shall march on Through heavy crowds, and a blood risen sun Our lord, Our savoir, his execution had begun People screamed, people cried, a man had died by suns dawn No matter, Time shall march on Through bullets and bombs, and blood soaked men A war of the world began once again Children died, boats were sank, blood soaked the island of Bataan No matter, time shall march on Through smoke, panic, and feared women and men Two towers collapsed, a surprise attack by planes, once again Thousands died, The good times, momentarily forgone No matter Time shall march on Nations will die, nations will be born People will be created, people will mourn No matter though, for another day shall dawn For time shall always march on |

I am the grass; I cover all. And pile them high at Gettysburg And pile them high at Ypres and Verdun. Shovel them under and let me work. Two years, ten years, and the passengers ask the conductor: What place is this? Where are we now? I am the grass. Let me work. Carl Sandburg |

we never worry about time until we don't have any to worry about. brother stone doesn't have much left they say, but I'm still not worried. I still have a little and that's what is important. and when it's all gone, I won't have to worry will I? |

"time shall march on" is there an alternative? A collective alternative that is...because we can cease to be, but time still marches on. Interesting and thought provoking write..enjoyed. "too bad ignorance isn't painful" |
