Within A Memory’s Peek-A-Boo
~*Marge Tindal*~

Within a memory’s peek-a-boo
came old thoughts, loving you
tucked ever so carefully away
I knew I’d once more find them
in a gentle caress, on a rainy, rainy day
Yester-eve the rains came thundering down
droplets pelting me with poignant recall in pound
drenching me in tender remembers of exactly why
I had gently tucked the memories so carefully away
knowing  that they would be  right here for  always
seeking to caress this heart on a rainy, rainy day
Some remembers seek my cheek as a teardrop
Some bubble me over with laughter anew
Oh, what a powerful storm of recall
within a memory’s peek-a-boo~

Theres this feeling I get when I read your poetry.  Some times other peoples as well, it means it's art in its truest form.  If I put the paint & brush icon there that means I get that feeling.  Your work is truely beautiful Marge.   Huggs Kimberly

Thankee gals~

This was a heartfelt penning ... I had not realized it was 'taking shape' until Delaney came up behind me and said, "~Poet, you made Pooh Bear's Honey Pot!"
Indeed ... I had ... well maybe it is a pot of purest gold ... full of love and memories of love~

Kimberly~
That is a really sweet thing to let me know~
Thank you~

This fits my mood well today, Marge.  The soft, nostagia of your lovely writing finds a special place in a woman's heart!   ...jo

Wonderful poem and I love the shape. It's amazing how you did that... or how the poem did it.
