Once life was free and easy
Not a care did we share
Cos we could do anything
As long as we dared
We didnt worry who was lurking
We could stay out til anytime
Noone heard of murders daily
Everything was fine
We used to get into everything
Be it good or bad
The only thing we were scared of
Was being busted by mum or dad
I remember my first boyfriend
Like it was yesterday
Having that first relationship
Things I never thought Id do or say
Sharing life with girlfriends
We grew up along the way
We never thought we'd get here
So many things we learnt til this day
Now everything is different
Life has changed things have gotten clear
That guy what was his name ?
The one I loved so dear
My girls are all mums now
We talked of that long ago
Playing dolls or boyfriends
Now it actually is so
I guess we all change and grow
Its how life teaches us to be
Im glad for what has passed by
for it all helped to make me Me
