Far reaching thoughts for which I am somber Thinking of her and those lips no fairer She finds me a friend so still I wonder For I love her so I will not snare her Would she take my love for her truthfully Would we make hot eyes with our passion? Instead with eyes hot bitter scrutiny Such saddness is true with unseen fashion A wish for a dream makes me a dreamer Dreams are for gone within realms never seen Yet dreams have come true for I have seen her My story is older no sadder has been I spend my time my love for her hidden No greater love than the one that’s forbidden |

I don't know much about sonnets and the way they're supposed to be...but no matter, I really loved the rhythm and feel of this love song! |

thank you all, I learned how to write in sonnet form only a few days ago but have now decided to write a whole cycle of them(a group of 100 or so) all of them as good as the last I hope. |
