The flower grew on the jagged edge of isolation. One of a kind, upon an island of transformation, It blossomed bright in the sunlight of the night. As if a star joining the celestial choir of delight. Its wings were shimmering silken sheen dreams Floating upon a universe of one of a kind reality. Yet abstract contrasts carried moonbeam shadows, Fingers nailing ground to a web of gripping gloom. Stillness, oh that stillness that drowns the silence. Devouring one in the fog of haunting mortality. Floating, oh that buoyancy that frees the wind To sweep the ground in its moaning muted gasp. Rooted upon the desires, clinging to a rim of flight, Tethered shackled held back deep breath of womb. Yet to dance upon the midnight clear Cinderella, High as a kite setting sail across the ocean of black. The umbilical cord breaking free the midnight butterfly Casting its spell upon the void of unknown deliveries, To wail its individual presence upon the gleaming light, Metamorphic midnight butterfly altered into a fairy princess. Oh, yes, I did enjoy the read and this - "Stillness, oh that stillness that drowns the silence. Devouring one in the fog of haunting mortality. Floating, oh that buoyancy that frees the wind To sweep the ground in its moaning muted gasp." Deserves to be quoted again. Lovely! |
