Within these confines only silence grows. Seclusion has a face it seldom shows, except those times it chooses to be seen, before some final chapter comes to close. Then, silence lets some words slip in between, revealing perhaps more than what we mean, as safety of the shelter we forsake, some facet of oneself's stripped to its' sheen. The walls of silence are not all we break, those arbitrary boundries that we make. At what point do we say we've gone too far, that full disclosure's often a mistake? I guess that would depend on who you are. What few among us bear no former scar? Perhaps we ought to thank our lucky stars for silence, for the most part, if it's ours. "I guess that would depend on who you are. What few among us bear no former scars ? Perhaps we ought to thank our lucky stars for silence, for the most part, if it's ours." What an enjoyable ponderful read. As per the second line, 'bears no former scar' would be a nice minor edit...MHO. I wish I could write this well. ~sigh~ |

Archea, Thank you, interesting moniker, at one time I was accused of being somewhat "archaic", which, by the way, I took as a compliment. Doc Midnitesun, Thanks. I haven't posted much of late. I've felt that I really didn't have much to offer. Tried a few pieces, a hundred or so that ended up in the trash, and then today, this one clicked. I'm glad you enjoyed. Doc |
