I closed the car door when I loaded my suitcase After leaving a note of good-bye. Soon you'll be learning That I'm never returning, So I want you to understand why. That I signed all the papers My Attorney asked of me So you'd know how It's felt all along. To be so Rejected, Mistreated, Neglected In your mansion made out of stone. As I pulled from the driveway To that long open highway I look back on the way things have been. All your promises broken Yes, so many words spoken That I hope never happens again. Oh, I know you could give more Then I ever could hope for But I'd rather be living alone. Then to be so Rejected, Mistreated, Neglected In your mansion made out of stone. |

May your journey away from the mansion of stone find you in a garden of flowers and sunshine - and a thinking stone to sit on and contemplate the beauty around you - and of course, a good man to share it with you. - Owl |
