As my heart beats to the powerful drums of Kitaro, and Tangerine Dreams hold me tight this cold night, I hear Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, and as The Tide Rushes In, Can U2 hear my beating heart? Imagine if All The People wanted to Hold Your Hand. Would you Let It Be? For if Love Is The Seventh Wave, we can Fly Like An Eagle, or soar On The Wings of A Snow White Dove, and even Catch a Falling Star. Let It Be, Let It Be. Let there be Peace in the Valley, Let there be Heaven On Earth, We Need It Now. One Love, People Get Ready. Thanking all the wonderful songwriters and musicians who have written words of Love and Peace to all humanity, and may we all sing these words of Love and Peace in harmony. * Shanti Pace Mir Pyong-Hwa Bangan Hoa binh Salam Shalom Sith Epiphnh Wookeyah Paix Li-Kei Zhide Nanomonsetetotse Heiwa Ke Eyewi Vrede Tsumukikatu Enkh Taivan An-Ping Paco Maluhia Casilla Paz in any language, PEACE is a beautiful word, **** May ripples of LOVE become waves of PEACE [This message has been edited by Midnitesun (05-11-2006 10:53 PM).] |

Peace....something a song will make you belive could be for a time...music and lyrics and the universal human quality that will always find in music something to sooth the savage beast. Really enjoyed this Kacy! |

thanks to all who have indulged me in this write and asking forgiveness from those who wrote the songs of love for I know this is a hodge podge at best but when I sit still at night I hear so many of these tunes these words and they always spell one word that my ears recognize as worth all my efforts all my energies, all the words I can beg borrow and steal from Webster's and elsewhere Peace |

If this doesn't prove that music brings peace and peace brings music, then I don't know what will! Much enjoyed, Midnitesun. And what a lovely surprise it was to find Vrede there. I realise that it is probably Dutch (for where would you find Afrikaans in America!), but it is Afrikaans too, and although I am not Afrikaans, it is a language of South Africa (we have 11 official languages!) and thus close to my heart. Besides, my ex-husband was Afrikaans (and probably still is!), which makes my children ½ Afrikaans, and my dearly loved late ex-step-mother-in-law and other in-law family. I will try to find out what is Zulu for peace too, if you would like to know. I firmly believe that we could have world peace and it is people like you who can bring it about. Peace, love and hugs - Owl |
