What it'd be like to hold your hand
And everynight I dream of
Us playing in the sand
I never really thought about
just what you ment to me
But now I feel it's time to say
what my eyes can clearly see

I never wanna be
the one to make you cry
And I never wanna be
The one to say goodbye
I only wanna be
That diamond in your eyes
To hold your hand and show you how
Cause forever starts right now

Now lets just say
It's you and me alone
And lets pretend
theres no more telephone
