Transpires, Eloquence

Melting ever afterglow where I have heard you
Thirsts, the roots of tender love
Time weeps, yet knows…
Together, we have braved the sound

Shaping emotions ever warm in dew
This life, a river of primal flows
Breath, making shadows play in see-through dress
Threaded through wheat of summer sun

At times, in blush, sentiment opens to song
Taking heed, the ragged rock of shallows
So in love with you, desire gives need
Happiness, the faintest colors of sunset

At times, unable to sing, smiles writhe
Grasping onto twigs, rolling onto sable rugs
We laugh, we cry…in silence we still love
Nor do I aspire to be a pillar or a rock

In your arms, I am the bending of dawn’s spirit
Whisper that travels the course of deep red rose
Velvet, careening down hillsides of silk sheets
All this, has grown between both pain and sorrow

"In your arms, I am the bending of dawn’s spirit"
What a gorgeous line!
