Rubies and Razors,
so different, you say?
Well, there's pain in a sparkle...
there's peace in a spray.

Rubies remind me
of where you now stand...
I can't even touch
your trembling hand.

Razors are colder,
yet, honest steel blue
words prune my feelings
and hold them for you.

Rubies & Razors:
to toss or to keep.
Is there much difference:
to dream or to sleep?
"There are no birds in last year's nest!"

Henry W. Longfellow
