The Wicked

Wickedness is thy name,
Liar with no shame,
plotting and planning destruction,
in the darkness of a foul and evil heart.

On lies you have built a house upon the sand,
in lies you have put your trust.
You are your fathers son,
his daughter,
his unfaithful wife.
Fed to fat but never weaned,
on deception and bloodlust.

How filthy is thy touch?
A swine would cast himself into the sea,
at the mention of your name,
as they did long ago.
You remember,
I know!

How thinly veiled your masquerade,
your expertly practiced charade.
Your net is torn and worn,
your keep is filled,
not with fishes,
but souls of men.

Like the grave you cannot be filled,
you cry for more,
you feed and you hunger,
you feed and feed again,
yet you always hunger.

How you hate the light,
that searches the depths and intent,
of your manevolent heart.

What you consider right,
the rightous would not whisper,
in the darkest hour,
of the darkest night.

Should I cringe at your blistering hatred,
jump headlong into the pit that is you,
beg for your tender mercies?

NEVER!

"The Lord rebuke you!" :-)

Although the world is full of suffering , it is also full of the over coming of it. Helen Keller

"Arise, O Lord, disappoint him, cast him down: deliver my soul from the wicked, which is thy sword." Psalms 17:13

The wicked are often the "sword of God".  It is only due to the "seeming" presence of darkness in the world...that so many seek the Light.

"The Lord has made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil" Proverbs 16:4

Rest in Him.   All is glorious.
It's all gravy, baby.   With giblets!!!
Sop it up !!!!

Whew!  Wow!  I think all good people can and do curse the wicked and you've done that here with force.  May your path forever remain free of the ... wicked ones!

"A swine would cast himself into the sea,
at the mention of your name,"

Amazing words in reference to an amazing Biblical story. To say nothing of where we cast our pearls!

Dear Seven, I doth hear the voice of a prophet.  You have poetically describe the villian.  Yet, is it not strange that people invite this creep in and offer him bread and bed,

Write on thou Prophet of the Lord!!!
