I sat and wondered what words…what words? And none came to be as beautiful as thee- how can I write thy smile which lasts forever in mind or give to others what thee hath given to me, And I thought of wine which gets thee drunk- then of poetry the weaker of the two but if thou drunk enough poetry- surely it would be the making of sense drunk on the words from the heartfelt stranger. So let me pour thee poetry, And thou can pour me love- and both shall be drunk on each other forming our passion for all to know and see, Stand still and the world will pass like a shadow- but I from distance gaze shall stand still the same and move within thy time no further away shall I be. The eyes of others still remind me of the empty soul, black as the darkest skies without a home- but thee my love hath the colours of the sea washed with a thousand more unknown to thee, And the secret of my poetry is not unknown- my mind is drunk on thee and I lust for more pour more of thine kisses upon my lips- feed me poetry, feed me poetry! and we shall never die after we are dead. |

Your "wonderings" are always fascinating! "feed me poetry, feed me poetry! and we shall never die after we are dead." ~ Love those closing lines! EA |

Poetry feeds the soul and the heart, oh, but love, love is the fountain of youth, love heals the whole body~ so pour to quinch the thirst, the hunger, so that I shall never hunger again. Poetry is food for thoughts, love for the mind, I shall die, with empty stomach but words of heavenly beauty my mind will contain, my ears have heard heaven sing, so sweet a poem that has never been spoken across precious lips, and never will be heard, ever again~ ~ARH |
