Words cut even deeper than knife's
They leave scars in our hearts
And on our minds.

Sometimes we can
Put them past us
And learn to forgive.

Then there are times
When those words are spoken
In such a hateful hurtful way
That it's just to hard to take
Those words away

I have a poem that says the same thing only I use different images. I will post it sometime on this site.  Your words are ringing truth!
