Last night,
the moons pull
held me in sway
as shadows played,
there at the edge
of memories.

Curtains of the past
slowly slid back
revealing a place
where hearts ran wild
under dusty veils of night
coveted moments
magically became ours
when we pressed palms
against midnight skies.

      {The scent of love still lingers there}

where starlight falls
caressing my soul
as I
                 back s l i d e

I close my eyes
feeling again
two hearts beating
in unison

time ticks
in silent slip
returning me quietly
back to today

the stillness returns.

    {Yesterday fades..}

"and if I've learned anything..
there's a first time
for everything.." Little Texas

the changes make me wise

but I know that I'll be fine....
life ain't always beautiful
but it sure is a beautiful ride..
