Voices in my head
whispering whispering...laughing
forever chipping away
at the medicated...uh...dedicated
wall around my sanity.

Don't you want to? they whisper (CHIP)
NO!! I murmur shout (CHIP CHIP)
Did I say that out loud
looking around
no one is staring
so not this time (CHIP)

Quick quick
pop a pill
patch the wall
medicate (CHIP)
medicate (CHIP)
quick

Whispers stir shivers
of the voices
urging me to
urging me to
to what? (CHIP)

Pop a pill quick
tranquilize, sedate, control
...they laugh yeah right (CHIP)

Voices in my head.

Hi Paula!  I
SMILED
when I saw you here. I have been on very sporatically.
How've you been doing?  Have the kids moved out? Anyway I was taken by this one because I would like to have a constructive dialog with my thoughts.  I want to ask them what should I do over the summer ... what is there to write about?----though I'm sure there is a great deal if only it could be "unleashed." I do not dare tell Mental Health (or few else)  the inner figures in my fantasy and dreams, afraid they might think I am skitz or maladjusted, or something ...
But perhaps tomorrow.
Hugggs ...
J
