Goodness It has been years Been whipped down Shook up And lost so many times I have no idea who I am They have said I was a sinner Only God knows for sure They say I have been filled with laughter Possibly Last week picking up The last paycheck I’ve earned this year I scraped on by Wishing things were different Catching rides on second chances Losing myself with you Too many days Turning into months Getting to know a solemn side They say I am a sinner Only God knows for sure They say I have cried so many times Possibly |
