I lost my sunshine
Where did you go
You left me facing these dark
Stormy skies all alone
You ran and hid
Your bright rays of light
That always warmed
This heart of mine
The thunder cracks
across my lonely life
Bringing sorrow and pain
To my blackened soul
Oh sunshine I miss your
Bright smiling face
Giving me hope of brighter
Days coming my way
Now I sit here in darkness
Feeling sorry for myself
Forgetting,
That all I have to do is
Smile for you to come back....

As the rain pours upon your windowpane look very close and you will see a colorful rainbow bringing a smile and sunshine into your heart.
