Many the times I've wonder Of whatever mis-hew Many times I ponder Of images abused Many the times I looked at A shadow of the sun Drifting onto a quiet street But then I was very young Many times I look at ideas Buried by their knees As those you trust and thought off Had their own winds to breeze Many times I often wonder Many times I walk the miles Many times I face embarrasment Many times then I've cried But from the bottom of my soles and feet Comes a connection to my head And so to avoid defeat I often took to read Words can sometimes save you Sung in your own way Hidden from the raptures On rain on a Sunday's day Still I found a woman With one slight possibility Taken to remove my socks And a machine that's dance repeatly But as it travels on kitchen floor She uses Serendipity And thus laundry appears And my mind thinks Quite differently |

these words pulled me in to a kind of "drift-off" I like it when a poem does that |

..."Many times I look at ideas Buried by their knees"... In the overall, the world wears a shroud of decency... When lifting that skirt...sometimes there is a need for mud flaps! Many great lines, joined together in a stoic sort of dream. Liked this. TD |

Words can sometimes save you Sung in your own way so true...I love how you put this.. and I did smile at the end picturing your words. M |

I write a load of nonsense most times but sometimes some sense creeps in Dave |
