THE TAP THAT DRIPS LIKE AN OLD FLAMENCO DANCER it is not the tap that drips like an old flamenco dancer it is not the undulation of kicks from the chorus line of a crumbling house it is not the repeated chaos that is the tarantella of work and commerce it is that I dance at all for many times I have travelled beyond the halfway point on a road that never ends andtime aftertime aftertime aftertime I return to you and the tap that drips like an old flamenco dancer |

"andtime aftertime aftertime aftertime I return to you and the tap that drips like an old flamenco dancer " This poem has a wonderful rhythm. Makes me want to dance... or cry. |

I have often been made extremely aware of the miracle of aches and sorrows and troubles creating great beauty. This is one of those times. And again, the structure is superb. Just one criticism - I'd hardly call a tarantella chaotic - but perhaps you are alluding to the frenzied part of "chaotic". Keep dancing (literally and/or metaphorically), no matter what - and even more, keep writing (and posting here). - Owl |
