Everything comes around and the stuff I thought was for the heap and the basics of other words seems to find something

Dave

In the death of your soul on a moonlit night
When your eyes are frightened to see a light
Would you marry the one who dresses right
In the light of a candle
Would your thoughts espouse
To sleep with the only one wearing a blouse

In the light of a dark night
Would you know the one
You've love as themselves

In the morning of your glory
Would you die
For what you feel you have become

If the light of day
Would you be sad
That now one sees your way

At the moment of truth
Would you have the courage
To know what was or is wrong

anything that in your mind
touched your soul
danced for your blessing

Nor the moments
But the dream
That danced

In you

amazing what the heap holds
profound soul questing at midnight...
my favorite hour for mental meanderings

And like yourself

I consign the early words

Some survived

But how do you say to someone

Starting out

as we did

protect the stuff

You think

Is rubbish

What goes around

Comes around

Your words were incisive

Your attitude right

And candles burning low

On some dark forgotten night

In worlds

For

Santa Claus

one woman's rubbish is
well, you know how it goes
and if I should put out the wrong dumpster
on trash collection day
woe is me!
I lived around the corner from Santa Claus Lane in North Pole Alaska..really, for over a year
and still don't believe in that jolly old clown
but many still do believe
so sometimes
I step away from my own attitude,
try on some other shoes

I hope the two of you continue to give and take...

because it reads very well and the whole thread becomes a poem in and of itself...

light my world...

I want to be warm.

Agreeing with Sunshine here, Bodger...your words are candle lit...and kacy's poetic reply perhaps the match.

The nice thing about your words is they trigger some old thing in me, that I again consigned to something

The quality of people on this site is such, that I say thank you to everyone for their comments, and the word 'honour' does creep into my mind
