Chin Wager’s Son
I am a chin wager I am my father's son Put me on a soapbox And from my “worth! “ comes sun
I look upon your heads A remedy to spread I look to your daughters Some fine linen for their beds
I look to your justice The markings on my wagon I look to your belief Your interest can't be flagging
One dollar a wonder Two a miracle through For three your every need Do not look askew
Your daughter and a dollar Why Sir you are too shrewed A young handsome man awaits To say more would be rude.
Roll up to my wagon Gaze at the wonders there Look very quickly I dont have time to spare
Well my friends and family It's time for me to go My horse look's for it's bath He smiles to let me know
And so we gently ride along No harm in between To our next arrival And our wonders to be seen

I always have a problem in that for maybe 8 and before years I just balanced writing to cope with a strange multi-country work/lifestyle in which I managed to get home for a small fraction of the time until my digestive system after 3 bouts made me a little difficult for travelling for a while.
I just wish that writing paid the mortgage, but back on the road I go, with a bit of luck.
