Tolerance for a short time

I wrote short for an idea so I could go through the discipline of writing succinct words condensing ideas to their essence

Then it becomes nothing more than drifting exercise and some kind of 'cant' and a few words are all you need

Stone was one of mind but I could at least see in my minds eye the fragments of excitement and not short words like you are in a traffic queue waiting for the lights and can't think of anything else

Red started as a failed love affair and was actually me standing outside the Duke of Cumberland in Parson's Green, London watching a storm

I have subsequently butchered it to be something else but it is the original.

                   Red

Clouds grey
Swarming my thoughts with dreams of understanding
Patterns that I can not reach
Fast roaring black expressions spinning the white to gray
Torrents of power failing understanding
Power striking
Safe wet stones
Understanding outcasting my mind
Sound colour words misunderstandings fall to emptiness
Soul gathered pain tempting tempestuous skies for understanding and excuses
Echoing screeching mountains I stride in my dreams of the world
Riding feelings that I am the world
Driving me wild

Cloud grey
Swarming firey pestilent answer to a Sun’s day
Telling me what
That I am mortal
That I can wake
Communing with sex in
Eyes, strength, impotency and dreams

Heavy rain spinning heroes to courage their dreams
Cleaning stone and people from your peace
Swirling spinning sucking you down
With the storm passing your peace
Forcing you up sky fractured
Ice freezing your fire
Nothing for your normality

I look at your sky patterned with gray
Crimson of blue firing into the night
Echoing nothing that matters here
You opposite watching my thoughts
In my eyes that dream of nothing
In my uncertainty with the world I write
Your dreams of nothing
In your interest I speak nothing
I write of my words that will become nothing
Why do I write
I desire nothing

Cupping your thoughts within my life
Edging your will to blue skies that never happen
Peace brokenly touched with darkness echoing your regret
That having given all
I understood nothing
But to see Red
