Enchanted Labour

25 April 2006

Silence, the darkness of a still heartbeat
flat, empty, no more pain as to death
But for the light, an element not unplugged
they call this life, in such enchantment to live

Heaven not her prison
less in time to shake Jesus by name
God had forgiven, rekindled empire
another day to taste the sun in savour

Relented and readied for such reality
onward, times tick her passion of love
A soul unable, yet to surrender
the message and journey unto give

Neither to question
much to relate
This momentum forth
to whom she does labour

“Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ,
that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.”
Philippians 2: 16 KJV
