One On One Gravity seeks it’s equal Moving separate chimes together Yet I pull away from the crowd Pillow a more private linger Stand before the general terms Whispering my own mantra Talking in a deeper rose To soothe myself in that image I have worn the warrior song Protected, nurtured, and made well To find the fit once met Dismissed to the enterprise of silence Now renegade bands my anklet Finding oneness in company of sky Leaving dear what is dear to me Speaking solely to twin selves Need and desire, making rain All that is in my heart Has drenched in clear water Discarding the clothes of single proper Upon the bank, wading shallow to depth Enlivened by the changes to my flesh Feeling each sensation in my blood Saying boldly in your ear the feel Knowing what it should be like When I am giving all that is my own Knowing you will see with wonder Spoken to your heart with just my hands Copyright Kkh 4/22/06 |
