Don’t say all I have going for me is my innocence In the end we’re all broken souls I was just too fragile I have become sad and lonely and the coldness I feel causes me to shake Why? Even in the spring I feel winter... -<>-~-<>-~-<>- * Juju * -<>-~-<>-~-<>- [This message has been edited by Juju (04-21-2006 12:51 AM).] |

5326 Days Foretold 21 April 2006 Even in the spring winter was her grace Each ounce of sunshine captured to her face Her smile was warm but what of thou art Was this fall or spring those seasons of her heart Surrendering to the light as if to say something to the wind Breathe, breathe it all in Understand that love for there was warmth to behold Just to remember, how precious you truly are, such was each day foretold © 2006 Christopher W Herbert (a New Zealand Poet) a poet who cares |

To say you do not deserve, what you clearly do deserve and are worthy of, quite obvious my inner-voice does not agree, because I did compose my above poem for you, only you, and who else might read it. Therefore your poem, did the talking and all I did was wrote what I saw, thus inspiration. Maybe next time, if there is a next time, I will send you a contact message instead (or you can get in touch with me) 4809 Never 31 December 2005 Never apologize for sharing never say sorry because you care Never never as never can take hold and lay you bare Naked and left out in the cold never think of it as being Because to postpone tomorrow was as much a blindness as seeing Look up to those whose help you gave Take their hand and heart and to your soul in spirit save Never say sorry if that is not what you do mean Just remember and remember well eyes are but holden if undecided in being “The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.” Leviticus 6: 13 KJV © 2006 Christopher W Herbert (a New Zealand Poet) (Nova Scotia Gal: More Psalms 8 'for Tracy', @Regina Publications, February 2006) a poet who cares [This message has been edited by poettothecars (04-21-2006 09:11 AM).] |

I confess, I hadn't read this until I took the poetry/answer challenge on, but I'm very glad that I did. You are such a beautiful young lady, and it leaves me ponderous, but also understanding, too, that you are so much more than that and want to be recognized for that. *hugs* and thank you I have always found you to be intriguing, and you are more than the sum of your very- well-put-together parts. (psssssssssst? Read Sheldon Kopp's "An End To Innocence---Facing Life Without Illusions)<---and I typed that like I knew, huh? *chuckle* and I thank you much, for your generosity in allowing me to write from your inspiration. |

Such eloquence in only a few words..who said poetry has to be long to have meaning? This is wonderful! |

This poem was honest, and I understood where you were emotionally, because I've felt this samething. |
