Ode to a Good Night Kiss

19 April 2006

Sleep was like yesterday
why was wake the sleep
A retarded paradise
to untangle and dream

This anger and terror
that pain in poetry
Flesh torn in a meaty tender
unto an aching grid of thunder

Who were thy to praise
a living God, with out speak
As unto silence, a drumming of reign
the deafness of lightening

Unknown, an author by name
trapped in an endless rainbow
The colours all of black and blue
faded and corrupted in grammar to relate

“And Jacob kissed Rachel, and lifted up his voice, and wept.”
Genesis 29:11 KJV
