Take the moonlight from my heart
and a little sunshine from my soul
Place them in the palm of your hands
let your body soak them whole
Bathe yourself in moonbeams
feel them soft upon your skin
Smooth on a little sunray
and let it soak right in
Feel the warmth & brightness
start to flow within your veins
capturing the joy & happiness
your heart & soul
now retains

If you can think of a better title please let me know, as I think mine isn't so great.

It reminded me of a recipe...for serenity!

Seriously though, it was a rather like a bit of guided meditation.

Loved this. Love you.

Tracie~
It is so good to see you writing again,
heck fire ... I almost wouldn't care if it was just titled 'Another Beauty By Tracie'~

Girlie girl ... this is so beautifully penned ... and I think the soft touch of moonlight sheds just enough light to lend itself gently to the bathing of the sun~

I think that the title fits the poem perfectly, it makes me want to see the moon tonight and reflect in beautiful thoughts.

It was the title that brought me to this one!

I can imagine the perfect day in every part of this poem. I like stuff like this.

May the winds sweep through the moonless sky....

Dear midnitesun~  love your name, appropriate for my poem actually

thanks for your kind comments and the suggestion of title - which I think is beautiful but I think I'll keep titled 'moonlight - sunshine' for now...thanks again.
