My Garden My heart is a garden, where the seeds of life are planted. What I let grow there, determines the harvest that I'm granted. If I should let my garden, go unattended. Bitter weeds will flourish there, the fruit of life is ended. The tiny plants that are pushing through, may be a smile upon your face. And gratitude grows here, to warm my garden with His grace. I have a row of hope, I hope I can share with my neighbors. I have a row of faith, that I will taste the fruit of my labors. I have a row of love, the essence of my life, planted there by God, in the form of my wife. This garden has been watered, by both her tears and mine. And it hasn't grown overnight, but has taken quite sometime. She has even grown to love the wild flowers, that decorate the borders of my heart. She thinks my silly garden, is her master work of art. . |

Steve, m'dear! That is a poem filled with things that I adore! ~ gardens, love, and God! You put a smile on my soul on this rather dreary, gray spring morning! Happy Easter hugs, Linda [This message has been edited by Ron (04-14-2006 12:15 PM).] |

Fill yourself a basket while your here Martie. I think I may have planted a few seeds from your garden anyway. :-) Thank you Lady In White, no wild roses are growing in it but look at the beautiful wild flowers surrounding it. Ain't they something! :-) Bless your soul of which I adore Earth Angel. Pick yourself a mess of Hugs while your here! :-) [This message has been edited by StevenS (04-14-2006 12:32 PM).] |

"She has even grown to love the wild flowers, that decorate the borders of my heart" I was expecting tomatoes and collard greens Steve but I got food for the heart instead. Perfect! |

Thank You Martie, I think I do look better squished up like that! :-) Thank You Susan, It takes lots of poo to make this old heart good soil. :-) That's a sculpture I did. It is loosely taken from the Greek Parthenon. [This message has been edited by StevenS (04-19-2006 04:31 PM).] |

Steven, I just love this. The wild flower borders, the rain, the ownership...it is all beautiful. But the miracle grow is GRATITUDE...What bounty! When your cup runneth over, so does your pen, the art, the music. I'd say she has helped nourish a wonderful garden! ~ Klassy ~ |

I truely loved it. Though I don't know that it wouldn't 'read' better if the 2nd and 3rd stanzas were switched. I would have to meditate about that... ...awesome. |

Thank You Debo, may that picture be blessed with many new colors as the years progress! :-) Thank You Shmity72, I think your right it would read better that way! Next time I print it I'll switch them. :-) Thank you Mariae, a garden ain't worth growing if it ain't worth sharing! :-) Thank You Vandana, for the read and the smile! :-) Thank you Sunshine, mind letting me in on those special reasons. :-) |
